SESSION FEES FOR PATIENTS IN JAPAN

Japan's health insurance does not cover mental health services that are not administered by a licensed medical doctor (MD) in a registered psychiatric hospital or clinic. Because of that, most psychotherapy, consulting, and counseling fees end up being private pay.
