About Dr. Xander
A space to understand the deeper story behind what you’re going through.
Dr. Alexander Krieg (“Xander”) is a licensed clinical psychologist. He works with individuals who are looking not only for relief from anxiety, panic, depression, or relationship challenges, but also for a deeper understanding of themselves. Many of his clients come to therapy sensing that their struggles are pointing toward something important: a need for meaning, clarity, or direction in the midst of life’s complexity.
Dr. Xander offers an introspective, relational approach to therapy that helps people understand the deeper story behind what they’re going through. His work is grounded in the belief that our symptoms are not random, but meaningful signs that something in us is asking to be heard. Therapy is not simply about feeling better, but about understanding what really matters and discovering how to live in greater alignment with that.
In therapy, Dr. Xander integrates elements of Jungian psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and relational psychodynamic work. He tailors his approach to each client, creating space for reflection, integration, and change.
People come to this work from many starting points: devout, questioning, between paths, or with no religious language at all. Dr. Xander works within your own world and symbols, not around them, and holds no agenda about where you land. The invitation is simply to take the inner life seriously, and to not have to do that alone.
